TEA CULTIVATION IN THE Us STATES.
H AVING received a small snpplj of TEA NjjTS,
collected at great expense of money and labor,
in the middle districts of China, from the most cele
brated Tea Plantations of the Empire, I am pit bared
to fulfil my engagements by accommodating the pub
lic with a share of the Nuts received. My iMirlh ob
ject is to plant nnd cultivate; but as I am qnite Cer
tain that 1 huve obtained, after the labor of Hirer-
years, the best quality of Tea Nnts, I am disposed to
meet the wishes of the public, and to share them
with otiiers.—TeaNnts gathered in the neighborhood
ot Cunton nre scarcely worth cultivating, on account
ot tlie interior quality of the Tea. It is obviously Ora
interest of the planter to submit to an Increased eX-~
penee, to secure n superior quality cf Tea Nhr, iri es
tablishing a Teq Plantation, whether large or staiUlBE
ever extended to me t & airT of a single bent.
For convenience and security, the Niits Will be
packed in tin boxes, and forwarded from Grhbhvinc
