THE GREATEST DISCOVERY OF THE
AGE.
D R. TOBIAS'S VENETIAN LINIMENT is war
ranted to be superior to any other medicine yet
known for tho cure of
Wens, Burns, Coughs, Lumbago, Headache, Dysen
tery, Chilblains, Sea Sickness, Chapped Hands,
Old Sores, Croup, Swellings, Warts, Hemorrhage,
Cramp, Chronic Rheumatism, Weakness in the
Limbs, Cholera, Vomiting, Cuts, Bruises, Cold
Feet, Corns, Tooth-Ache, Sore Throats, Palpitation
of the Heart,
This Liniment was the discovery of the late Dr. So
lomon, of Gilead House, Liverpool, a graduate of the
College of Surgeons ill Dublin, aud was used witli
great success throughout England during a period ot
15 years, since which it has become the property ot
the present proprietor, tho grandson of the late doc-
ter ; and duringthe time ithas been introduced into
this country over 1000 certificates have been received,
speaking in the highest terms of its pain releiving
qualities; and to prove what it is represented to be,
every agent is ordered to refund the money should it
fail to give relief when used according to the drcctions.
A few certificates are given.
Ccrtjicate oi Mrs. L. L Cohen.
Having used in my family, with the most complete
success, Dr. Tobias’s Venetian Liniment for croup,
aough, headache pain in the limbs, sore throat, Ac,, I
feel it no more than un uct of justice to tile Doctor to
give this certificate ; and the speedy cures it has affec
ted, have been most astonishing. I am never without
a bottle of it in my house, and tun sure no one will re
gret trying it.
SOPHIA COHEN, 261 Ninth street.
Certificate of Mrs. W. E. Cornish.
Dr. Tobins—Sir : One of my children was severely
attacked with croup. I used your Venetian Lini
ment which gave immediate relief, and i really think
it was tlie means of saving my child's life. Under
no consideration would I be without a buttle in my
bouse. 1 also consider it a most certain remedy for
sculds and bruises, having thoroughly tested it fur the
same.
SARAH CORNISH,354 Bowery.
City and County-1'New York, ss—Andrew Hun
ter, oi' said city, being duly sworn, doth depose and
say, that lie was engaged in superintending the con
struction of a sewer in Otlth street, between the (itli
and 8th avenues, and in hoisting up a large stone ot
nearly a ton weight, the full gave way amt precipita
ted deponent, with the stone, into the sewer, u distance
of over fifteen feet.stnking him on the buck and
shoulder, which so severely jammed nnd bruised de
ponent, tilnt he was taken up insensible and thought
to he killed. Dr. Tobias was immediately sent for,
and applied the Venetian Liniment, which so revived
this deponent that in a few minutes he was able to
speak ; and by the constant use of this most valuable
preparation, he was sufficiently recovered to attend
to his business ub usual,in the short space of four days,
to tlie astonishment of ail who witnessed tho accident.
