This Liniment was the discovery of the late Dr. So

College of Surgeons in Dublin, uud was used witli
great success throughout England during n period of
15 years, since which it lias become tile property of
the present proprietor, the grandson of the fate (loo

this country over 1000 certificates have been received,
speaking in the highest terms of its pain releiving
qualities ; and to prove what it is represented to be,
every agent is ordered to refund the money should it
failtogive relief when used according to the drectiolis.
A few certificates arc given.

D BRITISH QUARTERLY REVlEWS.~0w
to the late revolutions and counter-revolutions amc
the nntions of Europe, which have followed «
other in such quick succession, and of which"
end is not yet” the leading periodicals of Great B
a n have become invested with a degree of inter
hitherto unknown. They oecupy a middle gron
betwff-n the hasty, disjointed, and necessarily imp
feet records of the newspapers, and the clubor
and ponderous treatises to be furnished by thehu

tore, deem it proper to call renewed attention
these Periodicals, and the very low prices at wh
they are offered to subscribers. The following
their list, viz :
THE LONDON QUARTERLY REVIEW,
THE EDINBURGH REVIEW,
THE NORTH BRITISH REVIEW,
THE WESTMINSTER REVIEW,
AND
BLA CKWOOD'S EDINBURGII MAGAZISE.
In these periodicals are contained the views m

the three great parties in England—Tory, W
und Radical— “ Blackwood” and the “ Lorn
Quarterly,” are Tory; the “ Edinburgh Revie
Whig; and the “ VVestininster Review,” Libe
The “North British Review” owes its cstabliehm
to the last great ecclesiastical movement in Scotia
and is not ultra in its views on any «one of the gn
department of human knowledge; it was origins
edited by Dr. Chalmers, nnd now, since hisdc*
is conducted by bis son-in-law, Dr. Ilunnn, asaocia
with Sir David Bi e wster. Its literary character if
the very highest order. The “ Westminster,”thoj
reprinted under that title only, is published inf
land under the title of the “ Foreign Quarterly «
Westminster,” it being in fact a union of the t
Reviews formerly published nnd reprinted under
parnte title. It was, therefore, the advantage by 1
combination, of uniting in one work the bcet^lentt
of ^ both as heretofore issued.
The above Periodicals are reprinted in New Yc
immediately on their arrival by the British eteaim
in u beautiful clear type, on fiue white paper, and
faithful copies of the originals. Blackwood's '
nzine being aA exactfac simile of the Edinburgh
tion.
