r pHIS preparation is a Concentrated Extract, coil-
A taining. all the Active Medical Properties of tlie
Conyza, (commonly known ns Black Rout,) and tlie
Styllingin, or Queen’s Delight.
These plants have been long used among our South
ern Negroes, and recently by the Medical Profession,
with the happiest results, in cases of Chronic Itheu-
mntism, Ulcers of long standing, and Secondary
Syphilis. It is much superior to any preparation of
Sarsaparilla as an alterative, being more nctivo nnd
prompt in its operation on the system. These facta
have induced the subscribers to present to the atten
tion of Physicians a tluid extract prepared strictly ac
cording to Chemical and Parmaccutical science, de
void of all the feculent and inert parts of the roots,
not doubting that it will supersede the unscientific and
crude preparations hitherto used.
