This Liniment was the discovery ofthe late Dr. So
lomon, of Gilead House, Liverpool, a graduate of the
College of Surgeons in Dublin, mid was used with
great success throughout England during a period of
15 years, since which it has become tile property of
the present proprietor, the grandso.yif the lute due

this country over 1000 certificates have been received,
speaking in the highest terms of its pain releiving
qualities ; nnd to prove wlmt it is represented to be,
every agent is ordered to refund the money should it
fail to give relief when used according to the drcctiuns,
A few certificates are given.
Certficatc ot Mrs. L. /. Cohen.
Having used ill my family, with the most complete
success. Dr. Tobias’s Venetian Liniment for croup,
aougli, headache pain in the limbs, sore throat, &c„ I
feel it no more than an act of justice to the Doctor to
give tills certificate ; and the speedy cures it lias atfec-
ted, have been most astonishing. 1 am never without
a bottle of it in my house, and am sure no one will re-
gret trying it.

Certificate of Mrs. ]V. E. Cornish.
I)r. Tobins—Sir : One of my children was severely
attacked with croup.. 1 used, your Venetian Lini
ment which gave immediate relief, and I really think
it wus the means of saving n.y child’s life. Under
no consideration would l he without a bottle in my
house. 1 also consider it u most certain remedy for
scalds and bruises, having thoroughly tested it for die
same.

ter, of said city, being July sworn, doth depose and
say, that he was engaged m superintending the con
struction of a sewer in 30th street, between the 6th
and 8th avenues, and in hoisting up a large stone of
ue irly a ton weight, the full gave way and precipita
ted deponent, with the stone, into the sewer, n distance
of over fifteen feet, striking him on the back and
shoulder, which so severely jammed and bruised de
ponent, that lie was taken up insensible and thought
to he killed. Dr. Tobias was immediately sent for,
nnd applied the Venetian Liniment, which so revived
this deponent that in a few minutes he wu able to
speak ; and by the constant use of this most valuable
preparation, lie was sufficiently recovered to attend
to his business ns usual,in tile short space of four days,
