THE GREATEST DISCOVERY OF THE
AGE.
D R. TOBIAS’S VENETIAN LINIMENT is war
ranted to ho superior to any other medicine yet
known tortile cure of
Wens, limns. Coughs, Lumbago, Headache, Dijsc/i-
lcry, Chilblains, Sea Sickness, Chapped Hands,
Old Sores. Croup, Swellings, Warts, Hemorrhage,
Cramp, Chronic Jlheumatism, Weakness ill the
Limbs, Cholera, Vomiting, Cats, Bruises, Cold
Feet, Corns, Vnoth-Ache, Sore Throats, Palpitation
of the Heart, Ac.
Tide Liniment wnsthn discovery of the late Dr. So
lomon, of Gilead House, Liverpool, a graduate of tho
College of Surgeons in Dublin, and was used with
great success throughout England during n period of
15 years, sineo which it has become the property of
the present proprietor, the grandson of the lute doc
tor ; and during the time it 1ms been introduced into
this country over 1000 certificates linve been received,
speaking in the highest terms of its pain releiving
qualities; and to prove what it is represented to he,
every agent is ordered to refund the money should it
fall to give relief when used according to the drertions.
A few certificates are given.
Ccrtftcate oi Mrs. L. 1. C. '.cn.
Having used in my family, with the most complete
success, Dr. Tobias's Venetian Liniment for croup,
Dough, headache pain in the limbs, sore throat, Ac,, I
foel it no more than un net of justice to the Doctor to
give this certificate ; and the speedy cures it has iitlec-
ted, have been most astonishing. 1 am never without
a bottle of it in my house, and am sure no one will re
gret trying it.
SOPHIA COHEN, 261 Ninth street.
Certificate of Mrs. IV. E. Cornish.
Dr.Tobias—Sir : One ot my children was severely
attacked with croup, i used your Venetinr. Lini
ment which gave immediate relief, anil I really think
it was the means of saving my child's life. Under
no consideration would 1 he without, a bottle in my
house. I also consider it a most certain remedy for
scalds and bruises, having thoroughly tested it for the
same.
SARAH CORNISH,354 Bowery.
City and County _f New York, as—Andrew Hun
ter, of said city, being duly sworn, doth depose and
say, that he was engaged m superintending the con
struction of a sewer in 30th street, between tho 6th
and 8th avenues, and in hoisting up a large stone of
nearly a ton weight, the fall gave way mid precipita
ted deponent, with the stone, into the sewer, a distance
of over fifteen feet, striking him on the back and
shoulder, which so severely jammed and bruised de
ponent, thathe was taken up insensible and thought
to he killed. I)r. Tobias was immediately sent for,
and applied the Venetiun Liniment, which so revived
this deponent that in a few minutes he wa able to
speak ; and by theconstant use of this most valuable
preparation, he was sufficiently recovered to attend
to his business as usual,in the sfiortepuce of four days,
to the astonishment of all who witnessed theaccident
