THE GREATEST DISCOVERY OF THE
AGE.
D 1L TOBIAS’S VENETIAN LINIMENT is war
ranted tu be superior to any other medicine yet
known for tho cure of
IFiiws, Burns, Coughs, Lumbago, Headache., Dysen
tery, Chilblains, Sen Siek-ness, Chapped Hands,
Old Sores. Croup, Swellings, IVarts, Hemorrhage,
Cramp, Chronic. Rheumatism, Weakness in "the
Limbs, Cholera, Vomiting, Cuts, Bruise«, Cold
Feel, Corns, Tooth-Ache, Sore. ’Throats, Palpitation
of the Heart, tfC.
This Liniment, was the discovery of the late Dr. So
lomon, of Gilead House, Liverpool, a graduate of the
College of Surgeons in Dublin, au'l was used with
great success throughout England during a period of
15 yenrs, since which it has become the property of
the present proprietor, tho grandson of the late doc
tor; nnd during the time it has been introduced into
this country over 1000 certificates have been received,
speaking in tho highest terms of its pain releiving
qualities ; and to prove what it is represented to lie,
every agent is ordered to refund the money should it
fail to gi ve relief when used according to tho ilrectiona.
A few certificates are given.
Certficatc oi Mrs. I.. I. Cohen.
Having used in my family, with the most complete
success, Dr. Tobias’s Venetian Liniment for croup,
oough, headache pain in the limbs, sore throat, &e„ 1
feel it no more than an act of justice to the Doctor to
give this certificate ; nml the speedy cures it has affec
ted, have been most astonishing. 1 anj never without
a bottle of it in my house, and am sure no one will re
gret trying it.
SOPHIA COHEN, 261 Ninth street.
Certificate of Mrs. IV. K. Cornish.
Dr. TnbiHs—Sir : One of my children was severely
attacked with croup. 1 used your Venetian Lini
ment which gave immediate relief, and 1 really think
it was the means of saving my child’s life. Under
no consideration would 1 be without a bottle in my
house. 1 also consider it a most certain remedy for
scalds and bruises, having thoroughly tested it for the
same.
SARAH CORNISH,354 Bowery.

say, that he was engaged in superintending the con

andapplied the Venetian Liniment, which so revived
this deponent that in a few minutes lie wa able to
peak ; nnd by the constant use of this moat valuable
preparation, lie was sufficiently recovered to attend

to the astonishment of all who witnessed thenccident.
