FOB THE CUBE OF
dyspepsia, liver complaint, nervous
DEBILITY, BILIOUS AFFECTIONS, Ac.
1HIS medicine is ottered to tho public under the
assurance that there is no article in existence
having stronger claims to their consideration Being
compounded by n regular GRADUATE of JEF
FERSON COLLEGE, Philadelphia, and a prat-tie-
lug,Physician of TWENTY YEARS STANDING in
Philadelphia, his long experience has confirmed him
in the opinion that a compounded medicine was re
quired to prevent and remedy the debilitation pro
duced by residing in low miasmatic climates, and to
counteract the prostrating infiuences of the many
nervoiiB disorders with which tho human family are
afflicted. , ■
Dll. ALLEN is a well known physician, and has
used the above medicine in his practice for twelve
year with the most astonishing effect, having teated
its qualities in ubiwe
KIVU THOUSAND CASES.
No medicine ever received more finttering recom
mendation from physicians of eminent standing than
has been bestowed on tills.
TIioiimoihIn are now Mifl'eriiij; from that
most dreadful complaint, the Dyspepsia, when a sin
gle bottle of Dr. Allen’s Vegetable Compound would
nave the effect of removing l all those distressing
feelings attendant on that most debilitating disease.

A certain remedy for all fixed pains in the Side,
Chest, Loins, Rack, Bowels, Muscles, Rheumntism in
all its varied forms, Nervous Affections, Lungs and
Liver Complaints, Spinal Affections, Female Weak
nesses, etc., etc. For the above complaints this Flus
ter has no equal. The great celebrity which it hns
already acquired, not only in the old, but in the new
world, the extraordinary cures it lias performed in
the most extreme cases of Buttering, have acquired
for it such a reputation, that the proprietor has not
until recently been able to supply half the demand.
Tho sales throughout every city, town nnd village
in the United Status, are without n parallel!
A circumstance not surprising, when the vast a-
mount of human suffering relieved by its use is con
sidered. In spinal Defects, the benefit usually is of
the most decided Character. In Nervous Complaints,
nineteen cases out of twenty readily yield to the pen
etrating stimula combined in this valuable prepara
tion.
In Rheumntism, cither acute or chronic, the claims
of the Hebrew Plaster have long sirreo been univer
sally acknowledged. Those who are laboring under
weak backs, no matter from what cause the weakness
may have originated—even if such persons have been
misguided ill previous applications in the use of the
Hebrew Plaster they will find the affected part sud
denly restored to its original soundness.
As a supporter in cuses of constitutional weakness
it will be found of great advantage. It is particular
ly recommended to Females who are suffering from
sudden weakness, or general debility. In short, it
embraces all the "vtucs which the most scientific mind
was capable of compounding from valuable substan
ces tound in tile old world, and wiil be found entire
ly free from those objections which are a source of
complaint with the numerous spread-plasters now
before the public.
These plasters possess the advantage of be
ing put up in air tight boxes—lienee they retain their
fuil| virtues in all climates.

rpiIIS preparation is a Concentrated Extract, con-

Styllingia, or Queen's Delight.
These plants have been long used among our South
ern Negroes, and recently by the Medical Profession,
with tho happiest results, in cases of Chronic Rheu
matism, Ulcers of long standing, and Secondary
Syphilis. It is much superior to any preparation of
Sarsaparilla us an nltorutive, being more active and
prompt in its operation on the system. These facts
have induced the subscribers to present to the atten
tion of Physicians a tinid extract prepared strictly ac
cording to Chemical and 1’armaCcUtical science, de
