struction of a sewer in 30th street, between the 6tli
and 8th avenues, and iujioisting up a large stone of
nearly a ton weight, the,fall gave way and precipita
ted deponent, with the stone, into the sewer, adistancc
of over fifteen feet,striking him on the back and
shoulder, which so severely jammed nnd bruised de
ponent, thnthe was taken up insensible mid thought
to be killed. Dr. Tobins was immediately sent tor,
andapplied the Venetian Liniment, which so revived
this deponent that in a few minutes he wa able to
speak ; and by the constant use of this most valuable
preparation, ae was sufficiently recovered to attend
to his business as usual,in the shortspace of fourdays,
to the astonishment of all who witnessed tlie accident'
