H. Cox. one of the Ci ty Council, that Dr. Rogers’ Liverwort and Tar ope rated more like a specific than any other remedy, that 1 ever used. One of the cases, viz : Miss Bell, pro nounced by several Physicians to be laboring under the last stage of Scrofulous Consumption. Mr. Charles Wade, ofthia city, was quite low with Pulmonary Consumption, ior which 1 lmd been treating with less than usual Buceess. At bis request, nnd that of Ilia friends, I permitted him to try Dr. Rogers’ Liverwort nnd Tar; and I must confess that its eff ects were really surprising. After using the second bottle my visits were discontinued, and he was soon restored to health.
