ence enn estimate tho annoyance of such an event!
Conscious of the room for improvement, and assured
thnt tho seeds man who, should justly bo entitled to
contidehetg would receive ample support, the foun
ders ot tiio establishment, now conflicted by tho
subscriber, started more than half a century ago.
with tho determination to sell nothing but whut was
worthy of credit; and that they might the more cer
tainly accomplish their object, resolved to produce,
ns far as possible, tho seeds which they should vend ;
experience having shown them that most imported
seeds could not be relied on, much less those casual

they had foreseen :—unlimited public confidence.
The concern thus conducted, hns been gradually en

A certain remedy for all fixed pains in the Side,

nil its varied forms, Nervous Affections, Lungs and
Liver Complaints, Spinal Affections, Female Weak

ter lias no equ al. The great celebrity which it hns
already acquired, not only in the old, but in the new
world, the extraordinary cures it has performed in
the most extreme eases of suffering, have acquired
for it such'a reputntinn, thnt the proprietor lias not
until recently been able to supply half the. demand.
Tile sales throughout every city, town nnd village
in the United States, arc without a parallel!
A circumstance not surprising, when the vast n-
mount of human suffering relieved by its use is con

the most decided character. In Nervous Complaints,
nineteen cases out of twenty readily yield to the pen

In Rheumatism, either acute or chronic, the claims
of the Hebrew Plaster have long since been univer
sally acknowledged. Those who are laboring under
weak backs, n» matter from what cause the weakness
may have originated—oven if such persons have been
misguided in previous applications in the use of the
Hebrew Plaster they will find the affected part sud
denly restored to its original soundness.
As n supporter in enses of constitutional weakness
it will be found of great advantage. It is particular
ly recommended to Females who arc Buttering from
sudden wenkness, or general debility. In short, it
embraces nil the virtues which tho most scientific mind
was capable of compounding from valuable substan
ces lound in the old world, and wiil be found entire
ly free from those objections which are a sourco of
complaint with the numerous spread-plusters now
before tho public.
igjp- These plasters possess the advantage of be
ing put up in air tight boxes—hence they retain their
full virtues in all climates.

Tlieso plunts have been long used among our South

Syphilis. It is much supcriui to any preparation of
Sarsaparilla as an alterative, being more active nnd
prompt in its operation on the system. These facts
nave induced the subscribers to present to tiio atten
