Schiedam Aromatic Schnapps,

tbo most dellxhifal, hsrithiul, invigorating and pur*

A long-established manufacturer and importer of
liquors or every description, the undersigned devoted
himself to the production of an artiole of pnro Gin,
faculty for years. At length his efforts were crown**
with euoeess, at bis extensive distillery in Sohiodam,
Holland, from whieh place the purest Giu has long been
imported, and he a as enabled to give to ths world bis
Schnapps, whieh, for purity, and entire freedom from
th* pernicious fus*l oil and all other noxious ingre
dients, aad dsilghtfn! aromatic flavor, has never bean
equaled, and cannot be exeelled.
In order to proteot himself from pecuniary loss at ths
hands of ohsats, imposters aud pirate*, who would un
questionably attempt to palm off a vils aud spurious
artiole upon the unsuspooringaoiumuuity, and, like the
wolf in cheep's clothing, prey upon their very vitals, lit
resorted to the eapedtent of importing and selling bis

Doterurinod that th* virtues of the Sehnsppu should
be thoroughly sabetantUted by tbs most undeniable and
unquestionable testimonials, eironlars were dispatched
to every regular member of tb* Medical Faculty and

Of tns tan thousand physicians and ehsmista in the

Upwards of two thousand have promptly famished their
written endorsement that the artiole is all that is
claimed for it, and ia th* strongest language recom
mended its general use, not only as a remedial agout,
but a doligutfnl, harmless and pleasant beverage —
These voluntary endorsements are from gentlemen of

principal elly sad town, has boldiy spoken ia its favor
in it* editorial columns.
Th* New York Mtdleal Gas*tie aad Journal of

excellence. Ia the July number ef that Journal, Dr.
Reese its accomplished editor, has publicly invitud a

tures. medicinally, ia his widely circulating columns,
and the views of tho medloal faculty in refersnos to iny
Behnapps, in particular, giving an assurance that they
should be spread before tho publlo. l'byslolans, there

Were it necessary to do more than simply state this
foot, whieh he who runs max read, this pamphlet could
be increased to an indefinite length by ths publication
of tbeee authorities, oil oa file at tb* warerooms of th*
proprietor, in New York.
It is net only as a remedial agent that ths Schnapps
re to be recommended, but as a gentle and perfectly
harmless stimulant, whioh cannot be otherwise but
healthful and invigorating, aad may be indulged in
with impunity by those of temperate habits, without tho
•lightest fear of the banefnl, mournful and horrible
consequences or intoxication—that vioe which desolates
tbs social hearth, entails misery upon eountless thou-
rnds. Alls our hospitals, almshouses aad prisons, aad
rea furnishes the gallows with its deadly fruit.
In oonatrie* where pure wines and liqnors can be had

"A monster of such bideons mien—

There need be uo Mala* Law to suppress intoxication.
As long as men and women will persist in drinking
drugged, adulterated, poisunod liquors, with which tho
