Imports of Dry Goods at New York.
Tha imports of foreign drygoods at New
York, for last month, were very large, the
total being nearly doable the correspond
ing aggreate for last year, and nearly equal
to the large total for March, 1856.—
In fact, if the receipts for the last few days
had not largely declined, owing to the de.
tenlion of some cargoes over due, the fig-
urea would have exceeeded the total for
any cbrreapoiiding period in the history of
the trade. As it ia, they reach 110,561,-
967. The total import, at that port, since
Jan. 1st, reaches *31,654,779.
