DUC MONTEBELLO WINE.
■ UK UNDERSIGNED having been apt
ed SOLE AGENT for tho city of Savannah,
the sale of this old and Justly celebrated brnnd of
Champagne Wine, now calls the attention of tho pub
lic to the “ RE-INTRODUCTION” of this favorite
brand again amongst us. Many, of our oldest citizens
must remember when this superior Due De Monte
bello stood pre-eminent as a Champagne Wine here,
but by the introduction of a spurious article, and sold
as the Due Do Montebello Wine, by a set of fraudulent
imitators of the brand, (many of whom were mulcted
in heavy damages and paid a well deserved penalty
the Due Do Montebello for years has withdrawn his
Wiues from this country, and most of his Wines went
to Rt. Petersburg and other Courts, preserving its good
reputation wherever introduced. .
About two years since, however, ho appointed the
firm of Messrs. Ward & Simonln, or Now York, (now
Mons. Amedeo II. Simonln) his sole Agent forth© Uni
ted States for the sale or his Wines. The heretofore
good character established by these Wines, warrant me
In commending tho
DUG I)E MONTEBELLO WINE
to the public as a PURE, GENUINE and DELICIOUS
Wine, corked and sealed in a very superior raanuer for
I the American market. ^ .V.
I ain authorized to fornfoh tho trade with this Wine
at, New York prices; also, to receive orders for direct
importations; which are solicited by ■
