SUPER-PHOSPHATE OF LIME,
Manufactured in Baltimore.
■yyK would respectfully call the attention^ the
. . Southern Planters to the above article and claim
for 11 their earnest attention for the following rea
sons :
1st—It is the only article of Super-Phosphate manu
factured South of Mason and Dixon's Line.
2d—It contains in proper proportion every constitu
ent necessary for the grow tu or the staple products oi
the South, and in larger quantities than are embraced
in any other artificial manure now offered to the agri
cultural community, and is furnlsncd at a loss price.
Md It has lieeii thoroughly tried and tested upon
every description of crop, alongside of and in compar
Lou with Peruvian Guano and other fertilisers, and
the revolt has been invariably in its favor.
Having been used with such favorable results, and
bcingan article exclusively of Bouthern manufacture,
it should commend itself to the attention of overy
true friend of the South, and obtain a preference over
uny other preparation now offered for sale.

THE GREAT REMEDY
The wise physicau knows that man uiu
remedy of every disease iu the agent that
itdvely antagonistic to I he cause. The ingredients ol
this remedy and preventive of diseuse are procured at
the very fountains where the disease originates. Na
lure has provided that plants with healing iutlueucer
shall grow iu the- marshes and low grounds when
most rankly the causes of intermittent fevers are gen
eral. Centuries ago these properties were discover
ed, and hence it is that the Persians are enabled to b*
free from such diseases, while the si i augers passing
through their couni ty are afflicted till they feai u ol
the remedy, now carefully prepared lor the un
people of this country.
