.Fighting is reported at Kingston last week
between our cavalry and the Yankees. Wheeler
was ordered to Kingston last Monday, the next
day tiring was heard at Londou itt the direction
ol Kingston.
Atlanta, Nov. 23.—The train this evening
caiue from Dailiou, bringing sick and wounded
troops. Our forces are still tailing back, slow
ly tollovvod by the enemy, and tiring was going
on all day yesterday. Thu telegraphic wires
have been down nearly ail day, but ibis after
noon have been working to Tuiiuull Hill.

Ohanou C. II., Nov. 37.—The enemy arc bc-
luvcd to have crossed in force at Ely’s ford and
Geruiantn ferry. Preparations arc being made
to meet them. Cannonading is heard this

Richmond, Nov. 28.—The nows from North
ern Virginia to-day is generally of uu encour

to-day, some Yankee cavalry having appeared
at ll.ii; ultou’s Crossing. Outlie return trip the
train took aboard at Guiuea’s Station about one

lord.' The wagons, about eighty iu number,
loaded with orduauce and commissary stores,

The battle, which raged on Wednesday, llte
