And whereas the said Samuel G. Sargant bath prayed a day

of the fame, to the end that lie may be difeharged : Thele
are therefore to ci'e and admonish all and lingular the
kindred and creditors of the said deceased, and all persons .

office in the city of Savannah, on the 19th day of May

Jacob Mills, in our last to have been mur
derc*d near this fcitv) appears to have come to his death
by his own imprudence. A Mr. James Simpson and a
man named -Smith* hairing been out in learch of runaway
Negroes, accidentally fell in Cline, and
Mills, on being hailed, instead of answering in a civil
manner, made vfe of Hbufive and threatening language,
at the fame time fnapping'or flafhiag his gun at Simpson,
| who tn his own defence-fired and killed hhu. Mr. SinK
