On Saturday the Ud of June nexty at X t'cloek, on
the premifesy at Five Fathom Holey three miles below
the City of Savannaby and on the f.'aid river,
The greater Part of the Front of Lot No, £
in possession of the fubferiber, laid off lately by accurate
lurvey into 20 wharf lots, each containing from 100 to 200
feet front, and from 19° to 370 feet'back from the natu
ral bank of the river, (exclusive of 25 feet thoroughfare
and lanes) with a good road from Savannah to the pre
mises nearly completed. The fixations of these lots are
well known, and considered at present increasing in value,
as being at the head of navigation for all flapping drawing
more than 12 feet water; they are likewise well fituateS
for trade, building of stores for the reception of produce,
and particularly adapted for carrying on the lumber bufL
nefs; also capable of improvement at a small expence, the
bank of the river running generally from 20 to 40 feet off
thei channel, and fufficiently firm in its present state to
admit of large vessels taking on board their cargoes without
the aid of a wharf. Oiy foe premises there are now ti
good wharf ioo feet front; and deep enough, wkh'pi
ten feet of the head, for the largest vessels the.river will
admit; also a dwellinghoufe, corn house, poultry house,
and a garden; all under good fence, as described in the
furv'ey. rhe intention of tbe fubferiber,- by allowing the
great distance back from thp fiver, is to give fufficient fpaerr
for carryingron business, ereaing of buildings, and making
gardens, the foil being solid, remarkably rich, and known
by experience to be good fax the purpose. For the further
information of tbofe wlio may wish to become purchaferg

this city. For any other information ajyly to William
‘Stephens and Charles Harris, Efqrs. oi Mr. John McKin

good and fufficient titles wilt be given; probably an indulg

agreed to, with fectirity on the property.
