OTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, That, by virtue f
an a Cl, passed during die present session of Congress,
so much of the aCI entitled, “ An Alt making further
Provijivn far the. Support of Public Credit , and fir the
Redemption of the Public Debt” passed the third day of
March, one thousand seven hundred and inety-4ve, as
tars from fettliment or allowance Certificates, commonly
called Loan Office and Final Settlement Certificates, and
Indents of Interest, is suspended until the twelfth cWy of
June, which will be in the year one tljoufand seven hund
red and ninety-nine.
That, on the liquidation and fettledent of the said Cer
tificates, and Indents of Interest, atj the Treafurv, the
Creditors v ill be entitled to receive Certificates of Funded
Three per Cent. Stock equal to the amount of the said In
dents, and the arrearages of interest dije on their said Cer
tificates prior to the firft day of January one thousand seven
hundred and nihety-one.
That the principal foms of the fa ; l Loan Office and
Final Settlement Certificates, with he interest thereon,
fmee the firft day of January, one thciifand leven hundred
and ninety-one, will be difeharged, after liquidation at the
Yrtafury,’ bv the payment ©f interest, and remiburlenieut
•f principal, equal to the ’ sums whnh would have been
payable thereon if the said Certificatei jhad been fubferibed,
purfoant to the a£U making provision k>r the debts of .tlie
United States contracted during tlie late war, and by the
payment of other sums, equal to the market value of the
Remaining Stock, -which would have created by such
fuhfcriptions as aforefaid, which market value will be deter
mined bv tlie Comptroller of ti e Treasury.

oak, and hickory land, and open to Tyhee Lighthouse;

prizes will be paid within ten day* after the tvawing is com

on oath, and pay up immediately. Defaulters wlio have

by the said Receiver. Persons owning more than ten thou,
sand acres of land, who have negle£led*to cultivate, or
cause to be cultivated, five acres for every hundred over
