THE Fire-Masters of Savannah eameftly recommend
to the citizens in general, at this dry season, to
guard, as much as in their power, against fires; and that as
many as poflibte have calksjof water filled in their yards;
and that they prevent their Jfervants from carrying fife in
brands through the streets without a cover, which is but too
commonly pra&ifed by many fervaius, particularly in the

called for within fix months after drawn to be confidettd
as donations for the purposes of the Lottery.
Tlie number of high prizes holds out to adventurers tne
greatest profpefr of fucctfs; but, independent of gain, the
Commissioners flatter thtmfelvcs that they will meet with
iupport from the inhabitants of thofo counties immediately
concerned in that navigation; and they are happy to acknow
ledge that they have received the moft liberal assurance of

nah and Augusta to forward the sale of tickets* Upon the

scale, offer to gin cotton, si *h rollers, on the following
low terms:
They will engage to gin, t eari, and park, fit for market,
the black feed cotton, at th low rate of two pence per
pound; and, for every hunditd potmds of good Unginned
green feed cotton they may Rceive they will engage to re
turn twentvpounds of the fame cbtton well ginned nd
packed, thUwners finding bagging. Persons willing to
have their cotton well and expeditioufty ginned mull deliver
it at Mr. Ward's plantation, ippofite to Savannah, on Hut
chinson's liland, where the cotton can be landed from any
vessel drsiwing not more thaii five or fix feet water diredtly
into the gin house. Apply at laid plantation, or to either
af the fubferibers in Savannah, who will pay calh for good

June, which will be in the year one thousand seven hund
red and ninety-nine*
That, on the liquidation and settlement of the said Ce r ,
tificatcs, and Indents of Interest, at ti e Treasury, the
Creditors will be entitled to receive Certificates of Funded
Three per Cent. Stock equal to the amount of the said In.
dents, and the arrearages of interest due on their said Cer]
tificatcs prior to the firft day of January, one thousand feve
hundred and riinety-one.
_ That the principal funis of the fai£ Loan Office and
Final Settlement Cef-ificates, with the interest thereon,
fine© tl{e firft day of January, one thousand seven hundred
and nirtety-one, will be difeharged, after liquidation at the
Treafury', by the payment of interest, and reimbursement
of principal, equal to the sums which would have been
payable thereon if the said Certificates had been fubferibed,

united States Contracted during the late war, and by the
payment of other sums, equal to the market value of tlie

lv, or their legal attornies, at any time after the last day
of December in the present year, the principal sums of
the unfunded or registered debt of the United States, cre
dited on tlie bodks of the Treasury, or CommHTioners of
Loans, will be reimbursed at the Treasury of the United

2d, That interest upon the unfunded or registered debt*
aforefaid will cease from and after the last day of Decern,
ktr in tlie present year.
3d, That the Creditors refpe&ively will be entitled, 0*
requisition, to receive from the proper officers of the Trea
