THE fubferiber having declined dije Dry Goods busi
ness, offers himfelf to his friends, and the public in
general, in the above line. He will fell and purchase all
forts of Produce, likewife’ Lands, Negroes, &c. He flat
ters himfelf he will give fatisfaclion to those who may favor
him with there commands, being well acquainted with the
advantages that arise from-quickpefs of sale, as well as delay.
All peifons having demands against him are requested to
call, in order that the fame may be discharged. And those
indebted, either by. book or note, are folicitcd to make
payment previous to the firff clay of February ensuing, as
after that period all accounts, &c. will be lodged with an
Attorney at Law.

vered at a considerable diffance. When he firff absented
himfelf it was fuppefed he had gone towards Augusta,
where he long redded, and wrought at his trade . with his
father. They then both belonged to Mr. William Wal
lace, merchant, and moved with him to this place about
four years ago. Frank is very artful and speaks good
Euglifh; he is also very w£ll known in Augusta and Sa
vannah. The above reward, and all reasonable expences,
will be paid on delivering the above fellow to the fubferiber
or the Gaoler of this city; If he returns of his own ac
cord he will be forgiven, but if taken, severely punished.

Governor of this state.
Married yesterday -evening, Mr. Joseph Machih, to
Mils Harriet Cecil, daughter of Leonard Cecil, Esq. de
ceased. j
Died, lamented by all who knew her, on Sunday even
ing last, Mrs. Hope Wall, wife of Col. William Wall.
Died, on Monday afternoon, after an illoefs of seven
days, Mils Margaret Bulb, late of Philadelphia. The
lols ol this amiable young lady is sincerely regretted by
her friends and acquaintam *.
Died, after a few days illness, on Monday last, Miss
Mary Lloyd, daughter of Benjamin Lloyd, Esq. aged
14 years and 8 montfis.

At Milan an.immenfe number of copies of the following
proclamation have been printed, which are to be distributed
when the Imperial armies enter the French territory:

ruthless men. The last hour of those ruffians is come!
ruffians that have plunged you into the deepest misery!
and who are dtlirous of ruining the world by a total over
throw of the eftabliflied religion and government of eve: *
civilized state. Five hundred thousand brave warriors are
either already upon your frontiers or advancing thither;
they come to you, not as you want to come to other coun
tries—to desolate and lay waste—-no; they come as your
friends and saviors, your deliverers from tyranny and op
pression; not as your rulers would wilh you to believe, to
enslave, conquer, partition, and difuiember France; they
come onjy to restore your lawful Royal government, to
renew the sacred rights of religion, to save you from the,
