letters testamentary have issued including him as an afting
executor. If therefore there are any claims or demands

THE Tax Col.eftor gives notice, that he has received
the general digest from the Receiver of Tax Returns
for the year 1799, and is ready to colltft the taxes for

gainst DEFAULTERS will be issued after the firft day of
February next, agreeably to the Tax Aft.

RAN AWAY from the fubferiber on the 22d Dec. A
NEGRO WOMAN, named BELLA; (lie is about
5 feet 4 or 5 inches high, and pretty flout, rather of a
yellowifli complexion, has yellow eyes, a full Lee, and
bushy head; had on when she went away a fnuff colored
bath coating coat and wrapper; (lie is supposed to be in or
about Savannah, or in Bryan county, as fl.e has a mother
and a brother at major Charles Harden’s plantation; flic is
well known in Chatham and Bryan counties. Five dollars
will be given to any person who will deliver her to me, or
lodge her in the gaol of Savannah; if proved to be har
bored by any person eight dollars reward will be given.

RAN AWAY from the fubferiber fome time ago, A
NEGRO GIRL, about 16 years of age, named
MYRA, had on when (lie went away a white woollen
frock. Also, A NEGRO WENCH, named NANCY,
ot a light complexion, had on when the went away a
brown negro cloth wrapper and checkered petticoat. They
are both lately from Africa, and (peak but indifferent
Englifti. The above reward will be paid on their being
delivered to the fubferiber, with an addition of 25 dollars
on proof of either of them being harbored by either a

I A Negro Fellow named Frank,
; a blacksmith by trade; he is about 5 feet
• 10 or 11 inches high, rather of a yellow
complexion; from a natural Bend in his
neck his head inclines very much to one
(houlder, fomuch as to be plainly difeo
vered at a considerable distance. When he firft absented
hiinl'elf it was supposed he had gone towards Augusta,
where he long resided, and wrought at his trade with his
father. They then both belonged to Mr. William Wal
lace, merchant, and moved with him to this place about
four years ago. Frank is very artful and speaks good ■
Englilb; he is also very well known in Augusta and Sa
vannah. The above reward, and all reasonable expences,
will be paid on delivering the above fellow to the fubferiber
or the Gaoler of this city. If he returns of his own ac
cord he will be forgiven, but if taken severely punished.

gaol of Savannah, the Negro woman FANNY, who
ran away in the month of June lad, and has been long
advertised; she has been so fully defcribetl that a repetition
is coniklered unnecessary, particularly as (he is generally
known in and about the city. The fame reward will be
paid on fatisfaftory proof that (lie has been carried off by
any mailer of a veil'd, or other person, provided such person,
or any one concerned in her removal, can be come at.

ON the petition of Charles Harris, Attorney for the
Executors of the Estates of Francis M aria L. Dou
mouffay de la Vauve, and of Hyacinthe de Chapedelaine,
deceased, fliewjng to the Court, that it will he of advantage,
and for the benefit of the heirs and creditors of said Estates,
that Three Undivided Fifths of Two Lots, with-the Im
provements thereon, situate in the city of Savannah, viz.
Lot N°. 2 (two) Ellis tithing, Heatheote ward, and Lot
N°. 37 (thirty-seven) Franklin ward, Humid be fold, and
/hewing further, that the proprietors of the other two fifths,
that is to fay, Poulain Dubignon and Grand Grofmele, have
confcnted to the sale; it is ordered, by the Court, That
nine months p blication of this rule shall be made in one
of the Savannah Gazettes, pursuant to law, and, if no
objections appear thereto, an order for sale absolute will
then be made of the said three undivided fifths of the lots,
with the improvements thereon, as aforefaid.

bounded, at the time of l'urvey, on all tides, by land va
cant, late the property of Wiliiam Panton and Philip
Moore; and also all that “draft of Land, containing five
hundred acres, situate and being in the parilh of St. Philip,
in the county of Effingham, bounded eafl by land of Wil
liam Wylly junior, weft by land of Susannah Wylly, and
north bv land of John Parkinson, Lte the property of
Campbell Wylly; mortgaged by Isaac Delycn, lute of
Savannah, to the said John Shoolbred, for the (ecurity of
a film ot money Contained in a bond from the said Isaac
Delyon to the laid John Shoolbred, bearing even date with
the said mortgage; and on motion of Mr. Bulloch, Attor
ney for the Pi-tintifl; it is ordered, That the principal,
intend!, and cods, upon the said bond and mortgage, be
paid into Court within twelve months from this day, and
unless the fame fliall be so paid the equity of redemption
will be from henceforth firreclofed, and other proceedings
take place, pursuant to t!e aft of Assembly in such case
made and provider.. And it is further ordered, in pur
suance of the said aft, That this rule be publiflied in one
of the public Gazettes of this state, at leaf! once in every
month until the time appointed for payment, or served on
the mortgager, or his Cpecial agent, at least fix months
previous to the time the money is direfted to be paid as
aforefaid.
