A valuable Plantation in the
county of Liberty, about three miles from a public land
ing, and fix from the ft-a board, containing, old survey,
(including three tradls adjoining) about 1000 acres, the
quality for RICE or COTTON not to be exceeded in
the state; the latter (if a fault) is rather toodlrong for
cotton, as the culture of that article has been tried, and
the luxuriant situation rendered it not so productive as
expected, the fame land producing from 35 to 40 buihels
corn per acre annually; the rice land as fertile as can be
wished for, free from grafts, and generally produces on an
average 1200 weight nett rice per acre, having the ad
vantage of a reservoir ‘ft improved on. There are about
90 acres of the cotton land cleared and under good fence,
70 of which planted, and about the fame quantity of rice land
