A valuable Plantation in the
county of Liberty, about three miles from a public land
ing, and fix from the sea board, containing, old lur-vcv,
(including three trafts adjoining) about ioco acres, the
quality lor RICE or COTTON not to be exceeded in
the Bate; the Litter (if a fault) is rather too flrong for
cotton, as the culture of that article has been tried, and
the luxuriant situation rendered it net so productive as
expefted, the fame land producing from 35 to 40 bulbels
corn per acre annually; the rice land as fertile as can be
wilhed for, free from grass, and generally produces on an
average 1200 weight nett rice per acre, having the ad
vantage of a reservoir if improved on. i here are about
90 acres o_f the cotton land cleared and under good fence,
70 of which planted, and about the fame quantity of rice land
under anew fence, and So of which planted. Gt the
uncleared cotton land upwards of 100 acres, 80 of which
can be procured in one body, and about 30 or 40 acres
rice land. On the pre miles are a good and convenient
dwellinghoufe, poultry houses, {'tables, kitchen, negro
boufes, See. &c. From the compact situation of laid
plantation, the agreeableness of its neighboihood, the
healihfulntfs, and leveral other advantages, it is rendered
an object for the purc'iafcr. Nothing induces the pro
prietor to make sale but that of bis v,’idling to leave the
Bate.

UPON the petition of his excellency James Jackson,
governor of laid Bate, for himfelf and his lucceffors
in office, praying the foreclolure of the equity of redemp
tion of a traft of land, containing one hundred and fixty
fix acres and two thirds, in the county of Libertv, being
one third part of the Dißillery land, fold at the Tales of
conlricated estates as tne property of Roger Kelfall, mort
gaged by the laid james Spalding in his lifetime to his ex
cellency George Mathews, then governor and commander
* n and over toe laid Bate of Georgia, and to his
uccefiors m office, for the fccurity of the lum of four
hundred and fax pounds, four {hillings, and eleven pence,
(equal to one tlionfand seven hundred and forty-one doi
lars and fax cents) contained in a bond from the laid James
to tne alorefaid George Mathews, late governor
aiorefaid, and his lucceffors in office, bearing even date
with the said mortgage, and on motion of mr. Bulloch,
attorney general, it is ordered, That the principal, inte
. , and costs > u P on the laid bond and mortgage, be paid
into court within twelve months from this date, and im
lefs the lame lhall be so paid the ‘equity of redemption
will Irani henceforth be foreclofed. And it is further
