James Jones, who was elected to that seat for two year*
from the fourth day of March next: And I do hereby re
quire and charge the said Justices to promulgate this pro
claniation, and give due notice thereof; which said eltftion
shall be held in the respective coun ies of the state, agree
ably to the terms and directions of the said aft, on Mon.
day the twenty-third day of March next, of which all per

WHEREAS tbe laid Joseph and William Dupuis
did, on the 24th day of. April last, obtain, on the
common law fide of this Honorable court, a verdift, and
did thereupon enter up judgment against the said Charles
Abercrombie, for the sum of 4285 dollars 70 cents: And
whereas the laid Charles Abercrombie did file his petit ion
and bill on the equity fide of the said court, praying relief
the said bill, an injunftion was granted, forbidding all
further proceedings taking place on the judgment aforefaid;
and, in the term of November last, it appearing to the
court that the said Joseph and William were citizens of
the state of Kentucky, and not within the jurifdiftion of
the court: It was therefore ordered, “ That notice be
“ publilhed in one of the Gazettes of Savannah and Au
“ gufta, ten weeks fucceifively, stating the names of pnr
“ ties, and that injunftion was ifliied, direfting the de
“ fenclants to come in within three months, and file the r
il answers in the cause, or the bill will be taken pro con -
