rpHE fubferiber having had frequent applications made

to complete the NEW DEPTFORD CAUSEWAY
leading to Five Fathom Hole, in order to accelerate the
commerce of this port, and to be an accommodation to
tranficntperfons concerned in maritime affairs, Five Fathom
being now considered the head of navigation for veflels of
a large draught of water on Savannah river, proposes to
the public'to undertake the-fame, provided a fubfeription
is raised adequate to the labor it will take. He will en
gage to commence the work in August next, complete the
causeway to the high land, and build the necessary bridges
over Great and Little Salter’s Creeks, by the Ift of Fe

with fa&tv and comfort to the passengers. Those who
are disposed to become fubferibers, and encourage so ufeful
an undertaking, will apply to MelTrs. Edwin Gairdner and
