Lands for Sale.
A TRACT, containing 300 acres, in Glynn county*
and another of 600 acres, both surveyed in 1769;
the former on a branch of the Buffalo swamp, and the
latter about 20 miles from Bmnfwick, equal in quality to
any in the county.
A trad; of upwards 3000 acres on Canouchie, excellent
pine land, on which was a mill feat before the revolution;
it will be divided so as to suit purchasers.

Four Negroes and an elegant Saddle ITorfe,
to be fold as the property of A. Watt, to fatisfy Kamil-,
ton, Gairdner, and Cos.
At the fame time and place will be fold,
Seven adjoining Tracts of Land, making
2626 acres, lymg on the head of Sapdo river, on which
MTntolh courthoule stands. The river is navigable in a
quarter of a mile of the centre of the said trad. The
plot will be shewn on the day of iale, or may be leen at
the marlhal’s office at any time, and will be fold in such
lots as to accommodate purchasers. The above land is
taken in execution as the property of Robert Baillie, efq.
deceased, to fatisfy Powell, Hopton, and Brailsford.

THE fubferiber is willing to appropriate part of his
time as a Negotiator of any horeft Bi;finds, as far
as relates to buying or felling any lpecies of property, (re
tailing goods excepted) or the adjustment ami settlement
of any accounts that come within the compass of his pow
er, ill or about Savannah, for any person that may have
confidence in him, and Want assistance, for a moderate
compenlaiion. At present he is to be found on his little
farin opposite the plantation belonging to the Estate of
Hampton Lillibridge, efq. deceased, on the easterly road,
one mile from Savannah.

GENERAL ORDERS.
THE adjutant general will again proceed to the annual
convention of the field officers of the refpedive re
giments and battalions, together with the brigade infpedors
of the brigades they refpedivdv belong to, at such times,
and at such places, as may be inoft convenient for all the
field officers of such brigades, in order to inftrud them in
the difeipline preferibed by Congress, and in order that the
evolutions preferibed by law may be nibbled. The briga
dier generals will order a company of light infantry or
fufiliers to attend refpedive brigade convention of of
ficers, provided and equipped as the law directs such corps
to be.
In instances, however, where mamfeft inconveniences
arise in convening the field officers in each brigade, and
whqn, from various cauffss, the objeeft of such convention
cannot be fully answered, the brigadier general of each
brigade will, in lieu thereof, adopt such mode as he may
deem beff calculated for more effectually inftruftin'r the
field officers in the difeipline preferibed. And the com
-1 manner in chief is imprefied with the opinion that the objedt
! can be more generally effected in brigades, where it may
be found inconvenient to convene the field officers, by or
dering the field officers, or officer in each regimental or
battalion diftridt, to attend the adjutant general when tbs
regimental or battalion officers are convened, for the pur
pose of being instructed in the difcipliufc and evolutions.
He will also Concert with the several brigade infpeiftors
on the moft proper time for convening the refpeftive regi*
mental or battalion officers, with the adjutants and firft
ierjeants thereof, for the purpose of inftruebing them in the
laid difeipline* And as it is of the greatest consequence
that the privates fliould be particularly taught the duty re
quired of them in the field, the commanding officers of the
refpedive regiments and battalions are called nn to a& in
concert with the adjutant general and brigade infpeftors,
by ordering regimental and battalion musters at such times
as they may be notified by the adjutant general that he will
attend them for the purpose.
Ihe adjutant general is required, immediately after he
/hall have, completed his annual tour for the purpose of in
I'peift.ion, to provide the commander in chief with a return
ot the- names of the field and company officers throughout
the state, deftgnacing to what regiment and battalion they
are attached, and the name of the county.

200 DOLLARS REWARD.
RUN AWAY, A Negro Wench, named NELLY,
about 42 years of age, thick built, about 5 feet 7
inches in height; Ihe fays Ihe is free, and in such an im
poling manner as might deceive the moft cautious. Any
one who (hall take lip the said Nelly in the state of Geor
gia, and /hall lodge her in gaol, or deliver her to the fub
lcriber, lhall receive 40 dollars reward; 70 dollars to any
one who /hall take her up in the next state, and 100 dol
lars to any one who /hall fiecure her in the third state, and
lodge her in the gaol of the place where taken, or deliver
her to the fubferiber in Savannah. 200 dollars reward will
be given to any one who can prove to conviftion any free
perioiT of harboring and concealing the said Negro Nelly.
All mailers ot veflels are requested not to receive or carry
offithe laid wench, as they may depend, if difeovered, on
being prolecuted to the utmost rigor of the law.

TEN DOLLARS REWARD.
RAN AWAY from the fubferiber, on the 20th instant;
A Negro Fellow , by the name of BRAY, 6 feet
high, about 30 years of age, his little finger on his ieft
hand crooked, two of his upper fore teeth out, had on when
he went away drab trowfers and jacket, a cheeked shirt,
which were all the clothes took with him; he will en
deavor to get to North Carolina, and in all probability will
change bis name and dress. I hereby forewarn all captains
or masters of veflels from taking away said Negro, under
the. penalty of the law. The above reward will be given
to any person who will deliver him to me in Savannah, or
secure him in any gaol, so that I get him again.

OLD NEGRO WENCH, named Molly, was for
merly the property of Gen. MTnto/h, and fays flie now
belongs to one Gollon living near Briar Creek, Burke coun
ty- Her owner may have her by paying for this adver
tilement, and applying to me, 13 miles from Savannah,
near the Augusta road.
