WHEREAS theConftitui ion of the State of Georgia provides that the Gover nor may,on extraordinary occasions, convene the Legislature thereof: AND WHEREAS an occasion exists for convening the Legis lature, arid matters of importance claim their conliderarion: I THERE FORE THOUGHT FIT to convene, and do, by this my proclamation, convene the L’gifbture of this (late, at Louisville, the feat of government, on Thursday the tenth day of June next, hereby requiring the Se nators and Representatives, and every of them, to then and there meet and afTemble, in order to take into their consideration the important matters which relate to their con vention. Given under my hand, and the great seal of the Rate, at the (latehoufe in Louisville, this fifteenth day of May, in the tear of Our Lord eighteen hundred and two, and of the Independence of the United States of America the twenty fixth.
