The Thomas, Higgins, and Juno, Miller, for ■ this port- failed 18 days before capt. Safford. I The Boyne left Liverpool on the 18th September, but ■ have only obtained London papers to the 1 2th. ? a y f eW days before the Boyne failed a dreadful fire broke I out in the extensive warehouses on the south fide of St. I George’s dock, Liverpool, which destroyed 1o or i2 of the 1 fineft ftotes in that city, and great quantities of cotton and I Weft India produce. INFORMATION being laid before Council, that the Yellow Fever has made its appearance in the City of Philadelphia, It is ordered , That the Plealth Officer he directed to order all veflels coming from the Port of Philadelphia to be brought to at Cockfpur, and there to perform a qua rantine of fifteen days, including their days of failing, and that, during the performance of the said quarantine, the woollen and cotton goods on board (ball be, on every fail day, exposed to the open air, and the holds of the veflels ventilated in the best possible manner, and that, after that J time, they be permitted to come up as high as Five j Fathom Hqle,'gpd there remain until they fnall receive 1 a certificate of health from the Plealth Officer. Provided never tbelefs, That the above goods dial! be exposed to the air, and the veflH ventilated, at leal! three days before tbe said vviTel be permitted to come up to the laid lalt place, notwjthftanding the fifteen davs from the failing of the said veli’el may have before expired.
