Bestseller list, is a book about
Sarah and Bessie Delany
who aremore than a centu-
ry old. These two sisters, who
grew up in Raleigh, NC, were
well educated blacks who did not
let Jim Crow laws of the South
nor any other negative factors
get in their way of becoming suc
cessful women.
They give a lively account of
their early childhood in Raleigh,
NC growing u'F on the Black Col
lege campus of Saint Augustine’s
School in the nineteenth centu
