AUGUSTA FOCUS September 21, 1995
The search for the slogan pro
duced “Ask Me Aboutthe CVB,”in
an effort to familiarize the resi
dents with the purpose ofthe CVB.
Two tourists on their way from
Conrnecticut to Texas were “kid
napped”and entertained asaking
and queen for a day. Billboards
were erected, a press conference
was held and educational semi
nars were conducted. Media cov
erage was excellent and the cam
paignincreased awareness ofthe
role of the CVB in the community.
