Trust Company undergoes name change
AUGUSTA
William R. Thompson, President
of Trust Company Bank of Augus
ta, this week announced that Trust
Company Bank of Augusta will
officially become Sun Trust Bank,
Augusta effective October 30,
1995. The marketing campaign
announcing the change and pro
moting the bank’s new name is
currently under way. Distinctive
new Sun Trust signs will begin
appearing in Georgia during the
month of October.
According to Mr. Thompson,
“This marketing campaign will
introduce the Sun Trust name as
well as underscore that thisis not
a management change. We also
