Paine College is a church-re
lated, four-year, residential, lib
eral arts college. Its mission of
providing an education of high
(SRS) technology to create jobs;
- Providing assistance to small
and medium manufacturing com
panies for improving production
efficiency and environmental
statute compliance rates;
- Partnering with universities
to include technology transfers,
a distinguished scientist pro
gram, and Lab-led science and
math education programs.
Within DOE-SR:

sonnel exchange and
telecommunicating programs for
quality in a wholesome and nur

Betty A. Carter and Reginald F. Simpkins were married Satur
day, Oct. 28 at 3 p.m. at the Augusta Women’s Club. Mrs.
Simpkins is the daughter of Mrs. Maggie Carter and the late Mr.
Nathaniel Carter Jr. Mr. Simpkins is the son of Mrs. Evenlyn
Smith. Maid of honor: Mrs. Virginia Johnson. Matron of honor:
Mrs. Carloyn Hamilton. Bridesmaids: Mrs. Tamiko Blount, Mrs.
La’Tasha Simpkins, Ms. Kimberly Johnson. Best man: Mr.
Micheal Tanksley. Groomsmen: Mr. Kenneth Frazier, Mr. Jeffery
