Presbyterian Inter-Racial Dia
logue nearly three years ago.
Meanwhile, in Raleigh, concern
about racial divisions has prompt
ed a group of churches to organize
a conference on reconciliation.
“It’s particularly good timing in
view of the continued and healthy
national discussion that surfaced
afterthe O.J. Simpson verdict and
the Million Man March,” said the
Rev. David Sloop, whois planning
the two-day conference.
The conference is scheduled for
next September and organizers
hope to attract more than 50
churches from around the city.

17 - 19. The conference is spon
