many happy young people striv

we have a shortage. So if I can

The Savannah River Site is a candidate site for the plutonium
disposition options under consideration, including both immobili
zation and conversion to mixed-oxide fuel for nuclear reactors.
Because of its expertise and facilities for vitrification of radioac
tive waste, SRS is the Department's preferred alternative for that
method of plutonium immobilization and disposition.
There will be two identical workshops offered. Their format will
provide the public the opportunity to get information, ask ques
tions and exchange information with DOE representatives, and
to provide comments on the proposed scope of the EIS.
Pre-registration for the workshops is requested but not required.
To register:
* Call 1-800-820-5156 and leave a message
* Fax 1-800-820-5156 \
* Internet web site at http://www.fie.com/fedix/fisl.html.
Pre-registration will be open until 3 p.m., June 18; you may
register in person one hour before the workshops begin.
If you cannot attend the meeting, but would like to receive infor
mation or provide comments, call 1-800-820-5156. You may
