Words don’t come easily for everyone. y
Imagine that you can’t communicate simple thoughts like thank you or tell me a story. For
millions of Americans with speech and language disorders, this is reality. For them, words
don’t come easy. Speech and language disorders range from stuttering or extreme hoarseness
to the inability to speak or remember words.
A certified speech-language pathologist or audiologist at the University Hospital Speech and
Hearing Center can make a difference. They will help you and your physician in finding the
proper treatment for you or your child’s speech, language or hearing disorder. Call today for a
free screening at one of our four convenient locations. And the next time you say “I love you”
remember — not everyone can.
