and Penny L. Schuckers, Ex

vice Line, Uptown Division. The

ognizes two employees each
month for their leadership quali
ties, contribution to the medical
center goals, customer service
skills and community involve
ment.

ditioning equipment mechanic for
the medical center and works in
the Engineering Department of
the Facility Management Service

unteer for the past several years

ter Sports Clinicwhereshe serves
as a team leader. Her colleagues
selected her as “Team Leader
Extraordinaire” in 1998 in recog
nition of her enthusiastic sup
port, leadership and endless en
ergy for the Sports Clinic.
Schuckers is an active member of
the Augusta community. She
serves as a Sunday School teacher
and volunteers with a local ballet
program. She also donates her
time and energy to the national
professional organization for
blind rehabilitation and contin
ues to serve on the board of direc
tors for Division 18, Veterans
Services.
