Local nondenominational
ministry reaches out to women
By Adrienne Turner
AUGUSTA FOCUS Staff Writer
Sisters Today Ministries, Inc..
is a new outreach ministry that
seeks to help women overcome
some of the obstacles of life
through yielding themselves to
the leading of the Holy Spirit.
This ministry, as divinely re
vealed to it’s founder, Evange
list Denise Williams, places spe
cial emphasis on the problems of
low self-esteem, fornication,
adultery, abuse, divorce, single
parenting, rape, incest, moles
tation, dependency, submissive
ness and jealousy. They seek to
educate women on the fact that
they are special and deserving of
a better life as signified by their
colors, gold and white (gold for
royalty, white for purity).
There are four smaller minis
tries under the leadership of Sis
ters Today: Garments of Glory,
Sharing the Word, Making Pro
visions and Little Sisters Today.
Garments of Glory is a fashion
show ministry whose purpose is
to gracefully display clothing for
a righteous walk through the
anointing by the leading of the
Holy Spirit. Sharingthe Word is
a promotions ministry which
provides tapes and other mate
rials to women so that they can
continue in what has already
been imparted to them. Making
Provisions is a ministry that will
seek to provide clothing for
women and girls, meeting a cer
tain need, at absolutely no cost.
Little Sisters Today is a youth

women of Sisters Today nurture
the women of tomorrow.
Sisters Today holds numerous
seminars and conferences such
as Glorious Esteem, a woman’s
conference held every three
months in 1999 and a monthly
bible study called Sisters In
Christ “As One” which is held
the second Friday of each month.
All seminars and conferences are
free.
There are many ways in which
to take part in as well as help
support the ministry. Contrib
uting to the furnishing and
completion ofthe newly acquired
conference center is one way to
support the ministry. Sisters
Today is seeking cheerful assis
tance from anyone willing tohelp
complete construction, paintand
donate multiple items including
draperies, flower arrangements,
computer equipment and mis
cellaneous cleaning and janito
rial supplies. Any donation
would be greatly appreciated.
Also, becoming a Covenant Part
ner is another way to support
the ministry. Being a Covenant
Partner signifies a belief in the
vision and helps to offset the
ongoing costs while fulfilling the
mission of this vision. A way to
take part in the ministry is to
become a part of the Garments
of Glory ministry which is cur
rently looking for new models.
Sisters Today is an outreach
ministry, not a church. Also, it
is not affiliated with any church
or religious denomination. Sis
