Family Y offers a variety of programs this summer for children and teens
Soccer Session
. Registration for the Family Y’s
Fall soccer session willbeheld July 5-
24 at Wilson Center, 3570 Wheeler,
Augusta. Boys and Girls age 4-16
years of age are eligible for league
play. Soccer registration times will
be 8:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m., Monday-Fri
day; and 9:00 a.m.-12:00 noon on
Saturday. Feeswill varyaccordingto
level. Gameswill be played Mondays
and Thursdays, 6:00-10:00 p.m. Reg
istration fees are S2O for Gold Mem
bers, $25 for Silver Members and S3O
Martin joins ADT

Major Ron Martin(ret),CPP is
a Core Commercial Sales
Representative with ADT.
Major Ron Martin (ret), an
nounced recently his employment
with ADT Security Services after
retiring this year from the United
States Army. His military ser
vice span a 30 year period with an
8 year break in service. Ron’s
academic credentials are a Mas
ter of Science Degree in Manage
ment, a Baccalaureate Degree in
Police and Public administration
and an Associate of Applied Sci
ence degree in Police Science.
During the break in service, he
served as a civilian police officer
in Northern Virginia and a pro
duction supervisor for a major
textile firm.
Once commissioned as an of
ficer in the United States Army,
Ron was assigned primarily to
Provost Marshal positions (Chief
Law Enforcement Officer). He
supervised security officersinthe
United States as well as over 300
security personnel in Germany.
While assigned in the U.S. Mili
tary Police School, Ron wrote Law
and Order Publications, designed
curriculums and performed pri
mary instructor duties.
Ron received his Certified Pro
tection Professional (CPP) desig
nation from the American Soci
ety for Industrial Security (ASIS)
in 1986. Currently he is a Chap
ter Chair of the ASIS CSR chap
ter and the Vice chair of the CSRA
Law Enforcement Association
both organizations are located in
Augusta, Georgia; serves on three
nonprofit boards; is the Director
of THE CONSULTANCY, asecu
rity training firm.
Ron is married to the former
Cheryl LaTour of Lake Charles,
LA and resides in Hephzibah,
Georgia.
Wilson named
director
Jane C. Wilson has been named
director of Rehabilitation Services
at the Medical College of Georgia
Hospital and Clinics. Ms. Wilson
received a bachelor of arts degree
in speech communication from
Case Western Reserve University
and a master of arts degree in
speech pathology from Kent State
University.
Prior to joining the MCG staff,
she was manager of clinical op
eration for Nova Care, Inc., in
Augusta.
The newly reorganized MCG
department of Rehabilitation Ser
vices encompasses occupational
therapy, physical therapy and
speech pathology and audiology.
The MCG Rehabilitation Ser
vices Department provides occu
pational therapy, physical therapy
and speech pathology and audiol
ogy in a consolidated program.
Corley named
