Thou Art Loosed!” Conference to
Atlanta last year after the confer
ence outgrew facilities in other
arenas around the country.
More than 52,000 women par
ticipated in the three-day confer
ence in 1998. This year, pre
registrations indicate numbers
will swell to more than 75,000,
prompting the ministry to secure
overflow space at the adjacent
World Congress Center. The con
ference audience will include
about 3,000 international guests
from some 20 foreign countries,
including a bevy of public and
celebrity personalities, and high
profile figures — victors and vic
tims — who have dominated the
news this past year. More than a
hundred women from Atlanta area
shelters will be special guests at
the conference.
This motivating plea for healing
of the female heart has since
morphed into a number of other
forms, including the conference, a
musical recording, and most re
cently a powerfulga‘rgmatic play. |
