AT&T knows how much com
munity support has gone into
placing computers and other
equipment in Georgia’s
classrooms. We also noticed
that in many of those class-
AT&T trains teachers
to teach with technology
rooms, that equipment was
getting limited use. Because
AT&T wants to help make sure
Georgia’s teachers have the
tools of technology at their fin
gertips, we have made a con
siderable investment in pro
grams that make technology
demonstrations and instruction
available to any teacher who
needs it. |
Foundations for the Future,
a consortium of
several of
Georgia’s most
prestigious insti
tutions of higher
education, re
ceived a $2
million grant to
develop a
special place
where
teachers
can receive
technology
training
and tech
nical .

The people of AT&T are
equally proud of he hundreds
of volunteer hours they have
invested in wiring Georgia’s
classrooms ans giving teach
ers individual help to learn to
surf the Internet.
With tools like these, teach
ers can put the twentyfirst
century within the reach of
every child in Georgia.
