Kehoe will be exhibiting Carrara marble

Designs, Unicorn’s Nook is an ever grow
ing site now featuring the bio and art
works of graphic artist Sam Barnes, de

Girdler-Engler, painter Lee Ann Seaborn

The Augusta Museum of History,
560 Reynolds St. The March film Steal
Away: The Harriet Tubman Story, willbe
playing continuously in the History The

Brown Bag Lunch History Series will take

Past: Archaeological Excavations at Au

Phinizy Swamp Nature Park will
host Swamp Saturday on Mar. 3, from 9:30
to 11 am. Trained volunteers will lead
tourists past wetlands and swamps, over
picturesque trails and scenic outlooks.
Come prepared with seasonal items such
asinsectrepellent and sunscreen, comfort
able walking shoes, a water bottle and
weather-appropriateouterwear. Cameras
and binoculars are optional but welcome.

The ASU Literacy Center & Patch
work Players will present “Beauty and

SpringtimeMadein the South Show
will be held Mar. 9-11 at the Augusta-
Richmond County Civic Center. Therewill
be over 400 artists and master craftsmen
from throughout the country. There will
be lots to see, lots to buy and lots to enjoy.
. It’sacollectors’ paradisewith thousandsof
unique works from some of the best crafts
men in the country. Showtimes will be 10
am.toß p.m. Fri., 10a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sat.
and 11 am. to 5 p.m. on Sunday. Admis
sion is $4.50 for adults, children 12 and
under are free and one admission is good
for all three days with a hand stamp. Ad
vance tickets for reduced admission are
now available at Fat Man’s Forest loca
tions.
The Senior Citizens Council offersa
variety of classes including low impact
aerobics, Tai Chi, Spanish, quilting, paint
ing, Thera-Bands exercise, bowling, pool/
billiards, and more. All weekday classes.
There will also be a free blood pressure
screening, free eye screening, and two ses
sions of “Hair Styles by Henry” per month
where you can schedule hair cuts, hair
wash and set, roller set or wet set, thermal
curling, scalp massage, perms and styling,
andrelaxingand styling. Therewillalsobe
AARP Tax Help to taxpayers with middle
to low income, with special attention to
those age 60 and older. There will also be
abustrip tothe Mall of Georgia, thelargest
mall in Ga., on Wed., Mar. 21, from 7 a.m.
to 8 pm. Cost $33 per member, $36 per
