Arthur Bronner 111 and
Joe Pope to keynote Gospel gala

Showcase makes its way to Au
gusta this weekend, one of the
featured speakersis aman with
a name synonymous with flair
— Arthur Bronner 111.
A native of Atlanta, Bronner
-hails from the famed Bronner
Brothers corporate family,
known for its innovative hair
care preducts. A husband, fa
ther and competent business
man, Bronner is a widely
sought-out speaker for many
organizations and occasions. He
is the founder of Seek-Ye-First,
Inc., Arthur E. Bronner 111 and
Associates and Arthur Speaks
Foundation. He’s an active mem
ber of New Life convenant Min
istries of Frederick, Inc., where
he worships and is encouraged
by Pastor Rev. dr. Brenda L.
Ricks. Currently, Bronneristhe
public affairs representative for
UPSCALE Magazine, a publish
ing arm of Bronner Bros., Inc.
The magazine was conceived in
1989.
In addition to Bronner as a
spokesman, the Gospel show

Governor Hodges today proclaimed
March as Disabilities Awareness
Month in South Carolina.
“We are encouraged that more and
more South Carolina companies are
recognizing the bottom line contri
butions that people with disabilities
are making to our business commu
nity,” Hodges said.

Gates. Pope is owner of Glory to
God Christian Television in At
lanta and heads the Pope Broad
casting Company. Also scheduled
to attend the conference is Bobby
Parker, winner of the 2000 Stellar
Award radio announcer category.

soring what’s dubbed the Georgia
Gospel Showcase, Friday and Sat-

distributed free of charge to South

concerts occur Friday, 6:30 p.m. and
Saturday, 7 p.m.

case will bring together a number of
industry heavyweights, including
record producers, managers, radio
announcers, production companies,
booking agents, songwriters and vari
ous gospel artists. Featured speak
ers during the two-day event are
