According to GABEO
President Tyrone Brooks,
“We are facing a crisis in
health care in the minority

In addition to the SSOO tax
credit for personal travel, the
“Travel America Now Act of
2001” co-sponsored by Sens.
Miller, Jon Kyl (R-Ariz.) and
others, also would:
- Encourage business travel
by temporarily restoring full
deductibility for all business
entertainment expenses, in
cluding meals, that are now
subject to a 50 percent limita

- Allow travel-related busi

In a recent USA Today ar

health system and it’s failure
for minorities, it was reported
that minority children pose
special concerns in the health
care community. Hispanic
youth have significantly
poorer mental health than
whites. Approximately 45
percent of children in foster
care are black, as are more
than half awaiting adoption.
Many have serious mental
disorders. According to Sur
