@ The Young Ministry of the Gospel Water Branch
Baptist Church, 703 Fury’s Ferry Rd. of Evans, Ga., will
sponsor a Youth Retreat on Sat., Nov. 3, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Topics for youth will include youth challenges, social issues,
peer pressure, “Yes, Hell is Real,” etc. The Teens in Action
Group (TAG) will perform spiritual song and dance. The
music worship band Secret Place will perform. The theme of
the program is “Youth Getting Real and Staying Real With

will host a groundbreaking ceremony on Sat., Nov. 3, at 10:30
a.m. at the new location of Hwy 24W. The new building will
replace the one destroyed by fire on Jan. 31. Members are

Monte Sano Ave. of Augusta, will hold its annual Holiday
Bazaar and Mission Market on the weekend of Nov. 3and 4 in

Bazaar will open on Sat. 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., and Sunday 12 to 2
p.m. Featured will be crafters, giant attic/garage sale, home
made baked goods, case and silent auction. Case will serve

B The Unitarian Universalist Church of Augusta,
3501 Walton Way Ext., wil! host a solo recital by well-known
Augusta pianist Josef Patchen 111, dedicated to the memory
and legacy of Maestro Harry Jacobs. The concert will be held
onSun.,Nov. 4,at 7p.m. Included will be works by Beethoven,
Liszt, Prokofieff, Rachmaninoff and Debussy. Donations will
be accepted and, at the request of Mrs. Harry Jacobs, will
benefit the music program of the church in Mr. Jacob’s honor.

Adult/Senior Activity Day on the second Tuesday of each

be table games, exercise routines, speakers, arts and crafts,

M St. Mark United Methodist Church, 2367 Washington
Rd. of Augusta, will hold a Fali Bazaar Sat., Nov. 10, from 8

will be a silent auction, white elephant sale, crafts, bake sale,
rummage (clothing), casseroles, country kitchen, children’s
