Kmart-sponsored Sisters in the Spirit
2001 Tour inspires and revives with song

ALW Entertainment, Inc., the
nationwide Sisters in the Spirit
2001 Tour features Yolanda
/.dams, Shirley Caesar, Mary
Mary and Virtue -the hottest
women in gospel music.

gather at the 15 annual
Christmas Made in the South,
a three-day festival at the Au
gusta-Richmond County Civic
Center, November 16-18, 2001
This show features work
from hundreds of contempo
rary and traditional artists and
master craftsmen. Everyone
attending the show will have
the opportunity to meet and
talk with talented craftsmen
and fine artists. These arti
sans were juried from hun
dredsofapplicants. Some have
come with many years of expe
rience, some with art degrees
and some have acquired their
skills by developing a hobby
into a career.
Show coordinators expect
more than 20,000 shoppers.
Many who attend the show get
the bulk of their Christmas
shopping done before the
Thanksgiving rush. “A lot of
people will bring their Christ
mas lists and do about 80 to 90
percent of their Christmas

Corporation hosted a special
reception for local clergy and
other dignitaries. Also held at
Constitution Hall, the recep
tion gave attendees the oppor
tunity to meet many of the
participants of the Sister in
the Spirit tour.
Yolanda Adamsis one of the
hottest artists in music. She
currently has three albumson
the Billboard Gospel Albums
Chart, including tne Grammy
award winning, gold-certified
Mountain High... Valley Low
and her latest, The Experi
ence, which wasrecorded dur
ing last year’s Sisters in the
Spirit tour.
