A Mandatory Pre-Bid Conference will be conducted at
3:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 21, 2002 at the conference
room of the Purchasing Department, room 605.
It is the wish of the Owner that minority businesses are
given the opportunity to bid on the various parts of the
work. Thisdesire on the part ofthe Owneris not intended
to restrict or limit competitive bidding or to increase the
cost of the work. The Owner supports a healthy free

No Bid may be withdrawn for a period of 60 days after time
has been called on the date of opening. A 10% bid bond is
required to be submitted in a separate envelope so marked

mancebond and a 100% payment bond will be required for
award.
The Owner reserves the right to rejéct any or all bids and
to waive technicalities and informalities. Please mark Bid

Any objections to the specifications as set forth should be
filed in writing prior to bid opening.

The City of Augusta has prepared its Consolidated An
nual Performance and Evaluation Report (CAPER) for
the period January 1, 2001 through December 31, 2001.
This performance report provides information on hous
ing and community development activities during the
reporting period and assesses progress in meeting hous- ,
ing and community development needs in the City of
Augusta.
The publicin invited to review the performance report at
the Housing & Neighborhood Development Department.
Written comments may be submitted to the attention of
Rose White no later than 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 26,
2002.
