Who's Looking Afrer +he IKids?
Walking down the street one day,
1 saw a child along the way. :
A little boy that couldn’t be more tw%%%
Standing on the sidewalk looking up at me.
He was pushing a baby carriage and-to-my.surprise; -
There was a real live baby lying theré& iniside.
Having kids of my own 1 stopped tosee,w
If danger was their destiny.
1 thought, they must be waiting for.their.mother,......
WhO is in the corner Storé;,;:‘}v?‘? el /
Why, 1 have seen stranger things before. =
Then all kinds of fearful W”
flooded my mind, @ 05" 0
A car could hit them at afy time. wee-tor o
A molester could grab them and rufi“away,
What should 1 do dear God, 1 prayZ @ Eiiiiis
1 tumed toward my own home, ™"
But my conscience just wouldn't 1e£.me......00mee
acontinue on. R
1 tumed and walked back to the kid§ 6née more,
And 1 peeked in the door of the comer store.
Surely the mother must be close by,
A baby watching a baby, 1 wondered why? :
