Formal organization of the
Spalding County Game Protective
iation was effected yesterday
oon at the first regular
meeting at the Chamber of Com
merce by the adoption of a con
stitution and by-laws.
It was decided to hold the an
nual meetings on the last Friday
In August of each year. The reg
ular meetings will be held on the
first Tuesday ia each month at the
Chamber of Commerce. The mem
bership duea were fired at 91
per year.
The association starts off with a
good membership and is expected
to be largely increased, as much
interest is being shown.
To Hold Fish Fry.
It was decided to hold a fish
fry at the/ city park on Friday,
November 21. President Kell
agreed to furnish the fish and
Young Gray said he Would donate
the relish.
The chair appointed Young
Gray, Bruce Montgomery, W. F.
Anderson, Henry McWilliams and
A. K. Maddox as an entertainment
committee.
The officers of the association
include H. V. Kell, president; A.
K. Maddox, vice president; J. W.
McWilliams, secretary and W. P.
Price, treasurer.

ELEVEN PLAYING AT
LAGRANGE TODAY
The Griffin high school foot
ball team and a large number of
supporters left this morning for
LaGrange where they play the La
Grange eleven this afternoon.
Coach Taliaferro and his boys

Mrs. Wilensky and the baby
were taken to Bellevue Hospital
and attended for gas poisoning.
Physicians said both would live.
Makes Good Living.
The husband, Abraham, a ma
chinist, was notified of the at
tempted suicide. Hurrying to the
hospital, he told police his wife
has been in a nervous state wor
rying over the baby. He made
a comfortable living and the ba
did not lack medical attention.
