Friday, November 14, 1924. ANIMAL ACIS ARE ADDED FEATURES Elephants with manicured toes; educated jungle beasts from the five continents in their sleek sum mer furs; trainers and perform ers bespangled, and clowns in chalk and Vermillion masks—these are some passengers on the Sells Floto circus trains, due in the city at dawn tomorrow, for the big show comes this season with all its old allure, its myriad of human stars, and half of Europe’s wild animal exhibitions, added. The highly educated jungle creatures and erudite Arctic Cir cle quadrupeds will be seen in the street parade, which will leave the lot promptly at 11 a. m., un less the dire mishap should occur, which it won’t—not with Sells Floto. Added Features. The newly added features mean that the open air pageant will be much longer than before, clinch ing, so it is claimed, the show’s title to the largest circus parade in the land. The performances, opening with u The Bride and the Beasts,” a barbaric, lyrical spectacle employ ing 1,000 people and animals, cli maxes in a raid of jungle killers, it is announced, and all big top fans are advised to be prepared for the thrill of a life time. The famous Sells-Floto liberty horse acts, augmented this year, •the dazzling aerial, riding and straight circus displays will en thrall, while the Siberian tigers under Aage Christensen, the mixed groups under Jules Jacot, rthe huge groups of lions and lion esses under Allen King—these are a few of the highlights among the steel arena hair raisers. There are clowns to the number of 50, and a whole track full of animal comics, including aerial monkeys and baboons.
